Ahh, adventures. We all crave those times in our life when natures beauty is laid out before us in all its splendor. We got there by walking, biking, floating, or motoring. The mode of transportation doesn't matter because here we are. Far from the urban life, secluded, and happy. These adventures are the nice, peaceful, serene walks through the woods and floats down the river. Those epic trips where the weather was perfect, friends are close, and the scenery is stunning. The beauty of Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. That's why we all live here.

Adventure is a journey. The journey will generally include both good and bad events. I read a quote somewhere, sometime, by somebody that said, " Adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered." Adventures can be intentional or happen completely by accident. Those unintentional adventures usually involve getting lost, mechanical break downs, or injury. Maintaining a positive attitude and outlook is key to survival. Find the good in the situation and find your way home. We've been there. These are the adventures where you truly learn about who you are and what life is all about.

Weather is another important element that plays into an adventure. Just because we are the gear geeks we are, we like to "test" gear in less than ideal circumstances. Hiking in the rain, riding in a full blizzard, motorcycling in the cold. You know, really put that gear to the test and see how well it holds up. Most anybody who knows us, knows we are harder on our stuff than most. We tend to beat on gear, and if it holds up, essentially we become sales people for that piece of gear. If we have personal experience with the gear, and it gets our thumbs up, you can rest assured it will hold up to anything you will put it through.

Adventure. It's what we are all about. Eat, sleep, breathe, live adventure. You've only got one life. Get out and enjoy it.
