Here's what we do know. Everybody who works for the Backcountry Pursuit has extensive outdoor experience and is happy to answer any questions you may have. We firmly believe there is no dumb question. We also firmly believe that every conversation is an opportunity to learn something. Whether you are trying to determine exactly what gear is best for a new sport you want to try, you want to debate the strengths or weaknesses of products, or are looking for a new hot springs in the area, we will find the answer for you. The staff of the Backcountry Pursuit are very experienced with the gear we sell and consign. We also get to take some time off from time to time when the slave driver lets us. When the boss man is gracious enough to give us that time, we get out to enjoy life and wonders of the Pacific Northwest.
Come down and visit our trip planning area. There are some comfy green leather couches and an area to read hiking books and look at maps. All no obligation, free resources. Our collection of books and maps will be ever expanding. Just hang out in our home and enjoy it as if it was yours. Learn something new and plan your next trip. In closing, here's what we don't know. Well, I guess that's up to you to educate us on what we don't know. We are always up for learning and it's impossible to know about every trail, hot springs, and piece of gear that may come through our door. Do we have a good base knowledge? Hell yes we do! But, there's more to learn and we look forward to every conversation we have with you, our customer.
